The short version. This website asks for one thing: your email address, if you choose to join early access. We use it to tell you when Oathful is out. We don't sell it, we don't use advertising trackers, and the site sets no cookies.
This policy covers the website at oathful.app, run by Oathful LLC ("Oathful", "we"). The Oathful app will have its own privacy policy, published here before the app is released.
What we collect
- Your email address, only if you enter it in an early-access form.
- Basic technical information that any website receives when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. Our host, Cloudflare, processes this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We don't collect your name, location, contacts or payment details on this website.
How we use it
- To email you when Oathful is released. Every email we send will have a way to unsubscribe.
- To keep the website running and secure.
We use your email address because you gave it to us for that purpose. We process technical information because we need it to run a secure website.
Cookies and your browser
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It saves one small value in your own browser, the date the early-access window was last shown, so it doesn't keep popping up. That value never leaves your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers who help us run the site and send email, and only to do that work for us. We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising. We'd disclose information only if the law required it.
Our links to Instagram and X take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until Oathful is released and we've told you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If you create an Oathful account, the app's privacy policy applies from then on.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it at any time by emailing support@oathful.app. We'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Union, you may have further rights under local law, such as the right to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority. We won't treat you differently for using any of them.
Where it's stored
Oathful is based in the United States, and your information may be stored and processed there.
Children
This website isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us their email, tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use an email address you've already given us, we'll tell you first.
